Change

Change can be scary but, especially as artists, it can also be refreshing, renewing and inspiring. Here at Love Life Images, we decided it was time to update our look. New logos, new colors and fonts, new website, new blogs, etc. About the only thing not changing is our commitment to capturing beautiful, authentic imagery for our wedding and portrait clients. That's one thing that will never change around here.

So it's time to bid farewell to this blog and head over to my fresh new site: http://stephen.lovelifeimages.com. Please subscribe to the new RSS feed if you are so inclined and feel free to leave a comment or three. We love comments!

You can also view our new portfolios at http://www.lovelifeimages.com. Thanks for sticking with us and we hope you like the changes!

Jeannie & Jon :: A Columbia Country Club Wedding

Jeannie and Jon are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They are the easy-going, laid-back kind of couple that every wedding photographer dreams about. Jon even accidentally saw Jeannie before they were "supposed to" but they just laughed it off and went on enjoying their beautiful wedding at the Columbia Country Club. They hired a great team of vendors and everything came together wonderfully!

Dress Designer: Amy Kuschel

Cupcakes: Baltimore Cupcake Company

Florist: Amaryllis, Inc.

DJ: Mike Bell, MyDeeJay.com

Catering: Columbia Country Club

Here are a few of my favorite images from the day:

Some of the beautiful details...

Katie & Scott :: DC Engagement Session

As I've said in the past, the best engagement sessions incorporate locations that have some meaning for the couple. For Katie and Scott, travel is a big part of their lives right now. Katie works for American Airlines, and they live in different cities until they get married in July. It seemed only fitting to start our session at DC's Reagan Airport. I'm so looking forward to their wedding at the Meridian House!

I was a bit obsessed with silhouettes...

This shot made us laugh. I love that it shows their personalities so well.

We battled tourists for space under these Cherry Blossom trees.

This dip was a surprise to both me and Katie! I'm glad I was ready!
