Megan & Shane :: The Belvedere
I had such a hard time narrowing down the images from Megan and Shane's Baltimore wedding to post on the blog. They had such a wonderful day and there were so many great moments.
After the ceremony at Holy Cross Church, we headed to Federal Hill Park, where the setting sun provided some great light for portraits. Then it was off to the reception at The Belvedere, which is such an elegant place for a reception. The whole evening was a perfect celebration of Megan and Shane's relationship. It was yet another day when I was happy to be a wedding photographer!

There was some debate about the "L" on Megan's shoe. She claims it is the initial of her new last name; others thought it was to remind her which foot the shoe went on.
Shane's mother was so giddy to see her soon-to-be daughter-in-law...
Helping mom with her necklace...
Megan's sister gave her a necklace fashioned after some jewelry that their grandfather had handmade for their grandmother. So sweet...

One last "mirror" check before heading to the ceremony...
Almost to the church...
Time to get married!

I don't remember what was so funny, but it sure made for a great moment...
Megan and Shane were stealing glances at each other throughout the ceremony...

On the bus to Federal Hill...
Did I mention the gorgeous light? I love shooting atop Federal Hill, it feels like you're on top of the world.

Megan and Shane wanted the Domino Sugar sign in the background. Unfortunately it wasn't lit up, but, trust me, it's back there...
The Belvedere's stunning ballroom...

A sweet first dance moment...

The cake was almost too pretty to eat. Almost.

I love the passion in this image even though you can't see their faces.
Shane's mom was tearing up the dance floor!
A quick pic with the girls...
I'm soooooo glad they wanted to go outside at night for a few quick portraits. Totally worth it, I think!
