One of the things I love about being a wedding photographer is that each event is completely different. I never know quite what I'm walking into, which keeps me fresh and constantly inspired by the ways my couples choose to personalize their wedding. One week I could be shooting rooftop portraits at the Swedish Embassy, the next week I could find myself at a gorgeous farmhouse in the mountains of Bluemont, Virginia. Jennifer and Scott chose to throw nearly every wedding "tradition" out the window and hosted an intimate ceremony on the roof deck of their Baltimore apartment. The next night, they invited a few more friends to Corradetti Studios, a glassblowing studio in Baltimore's Clipper Mill, for some amazing food, relaxing jazz and good conversation. It suited them perfectly, and that's the way it should be.
We started off with some portraits in Baltimore's Mount Vernon neighborhood.

Back at the apartment and ready for the ceremony to begin...

Jennifer and Scott were joined by their families...

... and their beloved Pookie!

The next day, we got to explore some of Clipper Mill's amazing photo backdrops...

And a few more inside the glassblowing studio...

The Jim Stewart Jazz Trio set the mood...

Chef's Expressions provided some of the best food I've ever tasted.
