Monica & JP :: An Engagement Session in Washington, DC

A few days ago I posted a shot I took of the Washington Monument at sunset after an engagement session. Well, here is the engagement session! Monica and JP were so great to walk all over the Mall with me and hit some fabulous spots for pictures. We definitely got our exercise that day. I can't wait for their wedding next year at one of my favorite venues, River Farm.

Enjoy!

Jennifer & Dominic

Here's a sneak peek of Jennifer and Dominic's engagement session at the studio. I can't wait for their August wedding at Whitehall Manor. Enjoy!

Nicole & Dan

After going back and forth on a few dates for Nicole and Dan’s engagement session, we finally settled on June 8, which turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year.  It was the kind of heat where the LAST thing you want to do is get all snuggly. Just looking at these pictures again is making me start to sweat. But Nicole and Dan were total troopers and, water bottles in tow, we took a nice walk along Rock Creek Park in DC and found some great spots.

The last image is one of my favorite engagement shots of all time.  The light was absolutely perfect, and I love all the green and the huge smile on Nicole’s face (even if she was really thinking “I can’t take ONE MORE sweaty kiss!”).

Elaine & Ricky

The first word that comes to mind about Elaine and Ricky is FUN.  They clearly enjoy just being with together and making each other laugh.  We walked around the Mill and popped into the game store, where their competitive sides came out (did I mention that Ricky is a Redskins fan and Elaine roots for the Cowboys?  Heresy!).  The fierce battle had a happy end when they decided to make each other’s initials with the tiles.

I can’t wait to see them again on their wedding day!
